What is the JuKi Festival?

JuKi is an annual hands-on festival for children, young people and families. It has developed into one of the largest free children's and youth festivals in Germany. The venue is the creative Werksviertel-Mitte in Munich, which is transformed into a colorful world of experience on this day. The aim is to give young people playful access to education, engagement, culture and leisure activities - openly, inclusively and with a lot of heart.

A day full of hands-on activities and experiences

The special thing about JuKi is the wide range of activities on offer: over 100 hands-on stations invite you to try things out, be amazed and get active. Children can do handicrafts, build, play or research, while young people can try their hand at sports, technology or creative workshops. A large stage provides a varied program of dance, music and theater throughout the day. There is something for everyone - whether they are interested in sports, music, crafts or digital technology.

Committed partners from all over Munich

Around 80 organizations, initiatives and associations from Munich and the surrounding area are behind the festival. They bring along their ideas and offers, present their work and make social commitment a tangible experience for young people. JuKi thus creates a platform for exchange, networking and inspiration - for children and young people as well as for families, educational professionals and volunteers.

A festival for the whole family - and completely free of charge

JuKi is a barrier-free and intergenerational festival where everyone is welcome. Admission is free, many activities can be enjoyed without prior registration and food and drink are also provided. Whether as a family outing, school trip or simply as a day full of fun - JuKi offers a valuable opportunity to discover and create something new together. Guaranteed!

It pays to take part - for organizations, committed individuals and supporters

The JuKi Festival is the ideal platform to present exciting offers for children and young people - whether creative workshops, sporting activities or educational projects. Organizations and initiatives can make their work visible and talk directly to young people and families.

Parents, teachers and educational professionals will also find inspiration and valuable information for everyday life and educational work.

We welcome committed volunteers who support the festival, as well as interested sponsors. JuKi thrives on the joint commitment and networking of all those involved.
