The breakthrough with "Apologize"
OneRepublic was founded in Colorado Springs in 2002. Their big breakthrough came in 2007 with the hit "Apologize", which became a worldwide chart-topper in the remix version with Timbaland. The debut album Dreaming Out Loud established the band as an integral part of the international music scene. This was followed by further hits such as "Stop and Stare", "Secrets" and "All the Right Moves", which further cemented OneRepublic's reputation as hit guarantors.

OneRepublic not only stands for great chart success, but also for artistic diversity. Ein absolutes Highlight für deutsche Fans war der Auftritt von OneRepublic am 14. September 2008 in der TonHalle München, im Rahmen ihrer Dreaming Out Loud-Tour – ein intimer Konzertabend, bei dem die Band ihre frühen Hits wie „Apologize“ und „Stop and Stare“ präsentierte. Zudem traten OneRepublic am 6. Dezember 2011 erneut in der TonHalle auf, diesmal im Rahmen der Hands All Over-Tour .
These concerts in the TonHalle offered a special atmosphere: fans were able to experience Ryan Tedder's charismatic voice live in a smaller setting - an intense musical experience that was very different from later arena shows. To this day, such intimate performances remain unforgotten - they show OneRepublic's live strength in its most original form.
