Leony

Leony, real name Leonie Burger, is a German pop singer born on June 25, 1997 in Cham-Chammünster, Bavaria. She discovered her passion for music at a young age and began pursuing her musical career early on.

musical career

Leony made her first major appearance in 2014 as part of the band "Unknown Passenger" in the casting show "Rising Star" on RTL. With their interpretation of the song "Stay" by Rihanna, the band achieved an impressive 92.77% of the audience votes in the final. After the band broke up, Leony started her solo career and released her debut single "Surrender" in 2017, which was used in an advertising campaign by Sylvie Meis.

Her breakthrough came in 2020 with the reinterpretation of the Modern Talking hit "Brother Louie" in collaboration with Vize, Imanbek and Dieter Bohlen. This was followed by successful singles such as "Faded Love" and "Remedy", which each topped the German airplay charts for eight weeks. "Remedy" also reached number 5 in the official German sales charts and was also successful internationally.

In addition to her work as a singer, Leony has been a judge in the 20th season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” since 2023. Her musical successes have earned her numerous nominations, including at the 1Live Krone in the categories “Best Artist” and “Best Song of the Year” for “Remedy”.

Leony will step onto the stage of the Tonhalle in Munich for the first time in 2025. As part of her Oldschool Love Tour, she will stop in the Bavarian capital on March 25, 2025.
